E-Discovery CareerFest

E-Discovery CareerFest: Designing Your Legal Future

Wednesday, March 29th, 3:00 -5:30 PM Room 180

As a prelude to the 5th Annual E-Discovery Conference, the University of Florida Levin College of Law is sponsoring its first E-Discovery CareerFest. CareerFest responds to the growing interest of University of Florida law students in exploring career paths that involve electronic discovery and data analytic skills.

CareerFest brings to campus electronic discovery and data specialists from law firms, major legal service providers, and Fortune 100 companies to talk with students about e-discovery career opportunities. The goal of E-Discovery CareerFest is to provide a window into this emerging world and offer personal and other experiences to allow students to judge whether e- discovery and data analytics offers a future that meets their skills, interests and passions. CareerFest will also provide networking opportunities that may lead to further and richer contacts such as shadowing, site visits, externships, internships, and post-graduation employment.

CareerFest is a very informal event with no dress code. Students are encouraged to meet, hang-out with, ask questions and generally explore whether e-discovery and data analysis career paths are for them. Our visitors will want to hear about student interests and background and what students would like in their legal careers. CareerFest is an opportunity to network with e-discovery legal professionals to see how e-discovery and data analysis can be part of their future.

Come and explore.
