About

Corey Douglas is Vice President at Elijah Ltd., a legal technology firm specializing in computer forensic and eDiscovery solutions for law firms and corporations. Corey joined Elijah in 2013 after previously being at Holland and Knight, LLP where he worked with the Technology Litigation Practice Group as the department’s document management specialist. Corey began his career in the legal industry at a malpractice and worker’s compensation defense firm, Rissman, Weisberg, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue and McLain in 2000. Corey later took a position as an assistant with the Condemnation Practice Group at Gray Robinson, a full service law firm. Prior to his time at Gray Robinson, Corey gained experience in the world of personal injury law at the powerhouse plaintiff’s firm of Morgan and Morgan. Corey is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies with a concentration in transactional and commercial law and a minor in Criminal Justice. Having worked in a variety law firm environments in non-lawyer positions, Corey decided to pursue a law degree and entered law school in 2014 and is currently a 3L at Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, FL. Upon graduating law school and his admission to the Bar, Corey plans to focus his law practice on eDiscovery, data privacy and cybersecurity issues, specializing in technology consultation and implementation for corporate entities.
