About

David Hazouri is a New York and Florida litigator of 22 years who has practiced within a wide range of firm environments (national, boutique, solo, virtual) and legal concentrations (complex commercial, government, mass tort, family). Between 2006 and 2008, Mr. Hazouri founded and operated his own e-Discovery consulting firm, managing cases primarily in South Florida across the EDRM spectrum. In 2014, he also served as a Manager Director for the global Legal Processes Outsourcing company UnitedLex, as it launched an innovative co-branding initiative with the University of Miami School of Law.

Mr. Hazouri has taught a number of courses and seminars in e-Discovery and spoken at both federal and state bar events, including the Southern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar 2014 Retreat and the Florida Bar President’s Vision 2016 Panel during the State bar’s 2015 Mid-Year Conference., and the Florida State Bar’s 2018 Annual Convention. He is currently the Chair of the Electronic Discovery and Digital Evidence Committee of the Florida Bar Business Law Section, where he has helped develop and present ongoing Continuing Legal Education courses on E-Discovery and social media to the judges of the Eleventh, Twelfth, Thirteenth, Fifteenth and Nineteenth Judicial Circuits. For the past two years, Mr. Hazouri has also been on faculty for the mid-year Advanced Judicial Studies College, teaching a full day seminars on E-Discovery and social media, respectively.

Mr. Hazouri received his BA from Duke University and his JD from Univ. of Miami School of Law. He currently practices family law, E-discovery and commercial litigation with the Miami law firm, Rafool, LLC.
