Joy Murao is the founder and CEO of Practice Aligned Resources (PAR), a legal technology education and consulting company. PAR designs, delivers and supports bespoke training and workflow programs covering the full litigation lifecycle, from information governance to trial. Blending education with technological agnosticism, Joy focuses on aligning people, process and technology to best fit her clients’ level of expertise, practice areas and client projects.

With over 25 years of building and developing Litigation Support teams for some of the largest Global corporations and law firms, Joy continues to share her knowledge and experience while strengthening the local eDiscovery community. She is an instructor at UCLA Extension’s Paralegal Training Program, an Executive Committee Member of the California Lawyer’s Association Law Practice Management & Technology Section, former Regional Director of Women in eDiscovery and founding Director of the ACEDS Los Angeles Chapter.
