About

Judge Artigliere retired as a Circuit Judge from Florida’s Tenth Judicial Circuit in Bartow to teach and write. Before his appointment to the bench in 2001 by Governor Bush, Judge Artigliere was in private practice where he tried primarily professional negligence, medical malpractice, and product liability cases. As a circuit judge from 2002-08, he served in the felony, family, probate, and civil trial divisions, and was Administrative Judge of the Circuit’s civil and family divisions. Judge Artigliere teaches in the Florida Judicial College, Florida New Judges College, the Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies, the Florida Bar Advanced Trial Advocacy Course, and continuing legal education programs. He has served in the past or currently serves on Florida Supreme Court and Florida Bar Committees, including the Civil Rules Committee, the Supreme Court Civil Standard Jury Instructions Committee, the Florida Bar’s Continuing Legal Education Committee (past chair) and the Board of Legal Specialization and Education (past chair), and the Florida Courts Judicial Education Committee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Among his published work, Judge Artigliere is a co-author of the book Florida eDiscovery and Evidence available from LexisNexis and The Florida Bar.
