About

Michelle Six is a partner in Kirkland’s New York office, where she advises clients on strategic electronic discovery considerations and data protection and privacy issues. She focuses her practice on the development and execution of defensible eDiscovery processes in connection with contentious, high-stakes commercial litigation, products liability cases, antitrust matters and internal and government investigations. Michelle regularly counsels clients on data loss and records retention, as well as challenges posed by emerging technologies.

As Chair of the Firmwide Electronic Discovery Committee, she leads the Firm’s eDiscovery efforts and frequently writes and speaks about issues and solutions related to electronic discovery. Michelle was recognized in 2019–2021 by The Legal 500 for Dispute Resolution: E-Discovery and recognized by Chambers Global in 2021 and Chambers USA in 2020 and 2021 for her work in E-Discovery & Information Governance. Clients have described Michelle as “an incredibly effective advocate” who “truly shines in dealing with witnesses and opposing counsel.” Michelle is the proud mom of Oliver (13) and Emma (2).
